Learning to see the child
Not every strength first appears as a strength.
The child who talks constantly may be developing a powerful voice. The child who keeps to themselves may be observing patterns others miss. The one who dismantles everything may be trying to understand how the world works.
The Weekend School creates room for children to explore these natural tendencies through science, creativity, music, nature and collaborative problem-solving—while receiving the guidance needed to use their abilities responsibly.
Look again
Five “weaknesses” that may contain clues.
These are not automatic career predictions. They are invitations to observe more carefully and guide more intelligently.
A voice looking for purpose
This may reveal verbal intelligence, confidence, storytelling or persuasion.
Deep observation
A quiet child may be reflecting, imagining, concentrating or identifying patterns.
Rhythm and auditory intelligence
The table, buckets and plates may reveal timing, coordination and musical pattern.
Scientific curiosity
The constant why, how and what if may be the beginning of investigative thinking.
Mechanical reasoning
Before calling the child destructive, look for experimentation and spatial intelligence.
Learning through creation
Nature becomes our first laboratory.
The veins of a leaf, the structure of a stem, the pattern within a stone and the effect of water on rock all carry meaning and purpose. Children learn that nothing in the created work of God is merely decorative.

What happens at Weekend School
Short, practical and intentionally designed.
Nature discovery
Children touch, compare and closely study leaves, flowers, stems, stones and other materials around them.
One strong science activity
A focused experiment develops curiosity, careful observation and the courage to test an idea.
Creative problem-solving
Teams explore a familiar challenge—such as waste in their community—and develop possible solutions.
Reflection and presentation
Children describe what they noticed, what surprised them and how their team arrived at an answer.
Music and connection
Songs and rhythmic activities reinforce courage, belonging, teamwork and joyful participation.
Care for creation
Children connect respect for the earth with respect for other people and responsibility within their community.
